Virginia Woolf Was Right

It's glorious!  It's spectacular!  It's about time! LOL

I've been hounding my husband for years for my own space to write.  I even asked to turn a corner of our unfinished basement into an office.  He thought I was nuts.  Needless to say, the winter in a cold, cement space wouldn't have been pleasant...so I let him win (:

But there is something to be said about having your own space.  A place that's all you.  A place where I can have my cupcake pictures, trinkets and candles.  And let's not forget my books--my surrogate babies who with their mere presence make me feel good. (The same books my husband would like to burn.  The same books that caused him to throw out his back during our move because there were so many...and they were so heavy LOL).

Let's just hope my muse takes up permanent residence in this new room.  Does anyone know any voodoo or magic to bring writing mojo to a room???  I'm taking any and all suggestions (:
