I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell by Tucker Max

I took a detour from my usual romance reading.  This book definitely  does not have a happily ever after....or at least not a traditional one.  There is no hero and heroine walking off into the sunset at the end of this book...the heroines are running away..far, far away from this man named Tucker Max lol

You will either LOVE it or HATE it. Personally, I loved it.


Sort of like a memoir where Tucker Max recounts his most humiliating, disgusting, reprehensible, immoral and offensive, yet utterly hilarious, behaviour that has definitely earned him a one way ticket on the express elevator going to hell.

His point of view is fantastic, and even though this is not a work of fiction, his writing style is superb. This book had me laughing out loud...on the GO bus....in front of many people....who stared at me like I was an idiot.

If you are a hard core feminist....don’t read it. If you enjoy laughing at other people’s expense, sexually explicit language and “boys will be boys” behaviour...you’ve found the right book.

Take it for what its worth...stories about a guy who will do ANYTHING for booze and sex. Not really off the mark from every other guy in the world. Tucker Max just happens to write it down.
