12 Days of Sexy Times- Day 4: L.K. Below

DISCLAIMER: In no way, shape or form was this post solicited or expected. LOL!!!

First of all, I’m not sucking up. When Gina asked me to blog about the writer who writes my favourite sex scenes, many of my favourite writers came to mind. Christine Warren, Kresley Cole, Julia Quinn, Sally MacKenzie, Lori Foster. But each time I thought about one of these authors, I thought: good, but not fantastic. I couldn’t think of a single book where the sex scene rose above all the others. As that is what this post was supposed to be about, after all -- the sex scenes. After a while, after I rejected author after author as the subject for this blog post, I thought to myself, “Whose writing do I turn to when I need my hot fix?” And the answer whacked me right between the eyes.

Gina Gordon.

You see, folks, I am privileged. I am one of the few people who gets to read Gina’s works before they are published. I am proud to be her valued critique partner, I am proud to help to shape her work into the masterpieces the rest of the world gets to read. Gina Gordon writes good stuff.

And she writes HOT sex scenes. “Her Five Favourite Words” is amazing, as is her upcoming “Wicked Ride” -- but even more than that, my absolute favourite so far is her upcoming novella “Forever in Lingerie.” Maybe it was the characters, maybe it was the additional room for more sex scenes, but this novella, let me tell you, is on my must-buy list. And I can’t wait to critique the second instalment of the “Bare Naked Designs” series (*puppy dog eyes, Gina*). Gina Gordon always delivers!

Thanks a bunch, girl, for having me!

L. K. Below’s short story “His Familiar Touch” is set to be released in the paranormal romance anthology Paramourtal this summer. Check her out at

I was in complete awe when I read this and it actually brought tears to my eyes. What my great friend won't tell you is that my sex scenes aren't their best until she reads them over. Gina
