Cupcake Friday: Surprise! These aren't cupcakes!

I apologize. For those of you hoping to get your cupcake fix this week, you're going to be disappointed. But I saw this contraption and I had to post it.

Behold.... The KopyKake Projector

This works like an overhead projector allowing you to trace the outline of pictures onto your cookie.  I stink at drawing on paper let alone a baked good so this would come in very handy. It's a must-have item for any professional baker.

Check these out....

I love these cute little drawings. The price, however, isn't as appealing as the final result.  You're looking at hundreds of dollars ):

Hunk or Junk: Benjamin Godfre (Thank You Mama Kitty!!)

I love the internet. And right now, I love Mama Kitty.  I came across this week's hunk...yes, I said hunk because you can't possibly dispute that the man you are soon to ogle is a hunk...on Mama Kitty Reviews as one of her Hottie Pants Wednesday posts.

Benjamin Godfre.  Is it enough to say that there were barely any pics of this guy with clothes on.  To be a tad classy, I left the more risqué NSFW pics on the inter webs. But if you're interested, visit Mama Kitty's post or just google image him. You won't be disappointed.

Who is this guy? A make model? An actor? I DON'T CARE!!  He just needs to keep his shirt off.  All. Day. Long.

Gina's pick: HUNK!!!!

Hunk or Junk: Steven R. McQueen

Last week was a good week at my house.  New episodes of Vampire Diaries!!!!  Mucho man candy.

However, I have to say I am a little disappointed with where the show may be going.  Damon worked his vampire mojo on Jeremy again sending him far, far away from all the drama.  I hope this isn't a permanent thing.  The show just won't be the same without him.

So here he is, Steven R. McQueen aka Jeremy Gilbert.

Gina's pick: HUNK!!!  Love him.

Hunk or Junk: Dan Girardi

So I've had the fortunate experience of watching the HBO special: 24/7: The Road to the Winter Classic. It's a documentary that follows the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers who played January 2nd in the Winter Classic game.  Thank you husband who watches anything and everything that has to do with sports (:

I've always been a baseball player fan, something about the uniforms and body types, but I have to say, this special has renewed my love of hockey players. More specifically, a Mr. Dan Girardi of the New York Rangers.  The man's eyes are absolutely mesmerizing. A cool blue color. The stuff romance heroes are made of.  You can't really tell from the pics below but if you can watch the special, please do.

I am definitely going with Hunk this week.

What's In Store For Me In 2012

I can't believe it's 2012. I can't believe that it's been almost 2 years since I was first published.

2012 is going to be a great year! I can already feel it. For one, I will be going to my very first RWA conference representing the Passionate Ink chapter as their Vice President. Can we say Dungeon theme anyone? (:

Secondly, Ms. Libby Murphy and Ms. Liz Pelletier at Entangled Publishing have made my dream come true. My cupcake contemporary romance novel, Fire and Icing (new title to come), will be published in late 2012.

My writing goals for 2012 are to write 2 more books in the Fire and Icing series and 2 more books in a brand new category romance series. 4 books is do-able, don't you think?

I'd also like call myself out. Light a fire under my butt and do everything I can to secure an agent and start selling on proposal in a way that I can make advance money by the time I'm 35. I'm not going to say I want to be NY published because let's face it, the times they are a changing. I would love to be traditionally published by a NY publishing house and right now that's where the advance money is. That was always the dream but realistically who knows where the industry will be in 2015. As long as my books have the opportunity to get to readers, that's all that matters.

As for non-writing goals. I need to start exercising on a regular basis. Seriously, exercising. I'd also like to be a little more disciplined with my time. I have approximately three hours of my day that I spend sleeping on a bus during my commute to the EDJ. I need to start using that time. It'll be tough. My 5 a.m. wake-up call every day is unnatural but I know I can do it. Whether it's reading or writing...doesn't matter. As long as I am not head-bobbing my way to work with drool coming out the side of my mouth (: Not that I do that!

Anyone out there want to share their goals for 2012?
